KARATAY KHAN (INN) AND CARAVANSERAI
The Karatay Inn and Caravanserai is in the Karatay (Karadayı) neighbourhood of Bünyan District, about 40 km from Kayseri. It was built in 1240 by the famous Seljuk Vizier Celalettin Karatay and is similar in design to the Sultan Inn. The Karatay Caravanserai includes a small mosque, a bath, and a tomb, and is currently used as a restaurant.
