Located at the south corner of the outer castle walls, the two-storeyed “Yogunburç”, built by Izzettin Keykavus, has a semi-circular plan. The connection of the bastion, both floors of which is covered with pointed vaults, with the south wall has not survived. It is known that the building was used as a prison and government office in the 16th century.
“Yogunburç” is one of the two bastions on the outer castle walls that are still standing. The other one is the Ok Bastion, which was built by Alaeddin Keykubad.
