The building, which is known as Pamuk Han or Kapan Han today, is called "Pembe Han" in historical sources. The building without an inscription is thought to have been built in the late 14th century or the first half of the 15th century. Major renovations have been made, especially in the ground floor spaces of the inn, and they have been converted into closed spaces by knitting between the portico openings. Various additions were made to the inn in different periods.
The inn (Khan) was built as two storeys, with a courtyard in the middle and a portico. The entrance is from the east facade. The original spaces with the entrance to the south were demolished and two-storey additional spaces were added instead.
