It is thought that it was built later than the cupola next to the Lala Pasha Mosque. With its architectural features, it can be dated to the last quarter of the 12th century or the first quarter of the 13th century. The minaret of the rectangular planned mosque was added later. In the records, it is mentioned that the mosque was repaired by the Foundations Administration in 1903 and that there is a primary school and a fountain adjacent to it. Of these structures, only the fountain has survived to the present day. The inscriptions on the pulpit, which does not have a date inscription, contain verses taken from the Holy Quran. There is a similarity between the writing style and the crossings on the side surfaces and the pulpit of the Hunat Mosque, and it is thought that the pulpit belongs to the 13th century.
The entrance to the mosque is provided by two door openings on the west and north facades. The transition to the cupola is through a door on the eastern façade.
