Döner Cupola is located at Kartal Junction in Melikgazi district of Kayseri. The cupola, decorated with figures of a double-headed eagle, human-headed and winged leopard, lion and tree of life, is dated to 1276. This cupola, which belongs to Shah Cihan Sultan, is called a rotating cupola among the people because it has 12 surfaces and the geometric shapes and stonework of the other ten surfaces are very close to each other, except for the two surfaces on the sides of the entrance door. When walking around the cupola, the same signs and motifs can be seen.
