CINCIKLI MOSQUE

Also known as Çiğdelizade Mosque, the building was built by “Çiğlizade Hacı Ahmet Ağa” in 1664-1665. Ahmet Ağa, one of the tradesmen of Debbağ, donated half of his own share of the “Çiğdeli” garden in Kepe İlyas district to his mosque and some fountains and mosques, according to the foundation letter dated 1062 Hijri. The mosque was repaired in 1715 and 1923, and in 1985 it was retracted from its original place to make way for it and rebuilt.

Unlike other minarets, a cylindrical staircase system was applied on the tower minaret of the mosque, which was built with cut stone in a square plan.
